With the original intercooler, the engine intake air temperature can rise by as much as 90 degrees Celsius without needing to boost due to the insufficient capacity of the original intercooler.
In contrast, the larger intercooler ensures better cooling performance.
The factory intercooler air passage is tight, with bends and plumbing that block the smooth flow of incoming air, resulting in a significant loss of boost.
In contrast, the inlet side of the intercooler is integrated into the tank and pipe to achieve smooth airflow and reduce intake loss.
The 4.0 inch (100 mm) wide core has approximately twice the core capacity of the original equipment and delivers overwhelming cooling performance.
