With the style of attachment called 'single nipple,' the hose is drawn over a long tapered single nipple by the socket.The inside of the socket and the outside of the nipple create a seal by pinching the hose.Reusing this style of hose end is simple, as there is no sliver of cut hose to remove before reinstalling the hose end on a new piece of hose.
