This 4 Link System from RideTech is specifically designed for the Chevy 1955-1957 and is intended for use with Shockwaves or CoilOvers.
Typically, the ride height of your car is lowered by approximately 2”.
The stock ride quality is dramatically improved, and instead of a wallowing soft ride, you’ll experience a crisp, controlled ride quality that inspires more confidence for performance driving.
The handling and cornering performance see the largest improvement.
The system replaces the OEM leafspring with a 4-Link rear suspension.
More precise positioning of the rear axle is offered by the 4-Link bars to eliminate flexing and increase stability through corners.
When combined with a ShockWave or a Ridetech Coil-Over front suspension kit, your classic musclecar can now enjoy the benefits of modern ride quality and handling technology.
Positioned to the inside of the frame rails, the bars provide maximum tire clearance.
The installation is virtually bolt-on, requiring only two brackets to be welded to the axle tube.
The R-Joint rod ends combine low friction movement, lateral stability, full range articulation, and quiet operation into one special bearing that is suitable for both street and racetrack use.
