A blend of characteristics provides high strength and excellent seizure resistance.

No flash plating is applied to improve further bearing retention and maximize heat transfer.

Key Features

High Strength Steel Backing, Higher tensile strength of steel alloy improves strength and retention of rod bearings. Increased crush improves retention of bearings from higher radial contact pressures and also improves dissipation of heat.
Increased Eccentricity, Bearing eccentricity is the gradual reduction in wall thickness between the parting line and crown. This engineering feature enhanced allows for compensation for bore distortion and assists in the formation of hydrodynamic oil film.
Extended Oil Grooves and Tapered Groove Run-Out, Main bearing grooved uppers with matching groove lowers provide less interruption to big end oil supply. Tapered groove run–out smooths cutoff of big end supply and avoids cavitation and pressure pulsing.
