The twin tube shocks from QA1 are rebuildable and offer the performance, consistency, and tunability that racers demand.
Known previously as 70 series shocks, the 7Q series is a small body bearing mount shock.
Depending on rules and applications, racers can choose from 6" and 7" bodies.
The design of the twin tube gives a great feel for the track surface, making them suitable for asphalt and dry slick dirt tracks.
Small details accumulate to create great overall performance.
The black zinc coating ensures a consistent finish, creating a tight seal every time.
High-quality raw aluminum is used for the pistons, minimizing variations that can be found in anodized parts.
The shock can be valved with bleed shims or drilled out bleeds to maximize tunability.
The 7Q shocks provide the same proven performance of QA1's large-body shocks in a smaller package.
The smaller outside diameter makes them ideal for lightweight classes or applications where packaging is a concern.
The twin tube shock has a diameter of 1-5/8" with eyelet bearing-mounts.
It features a 6" stroke and measures 17-3/4" eye to eye.
Re-valving and rebuilding the shocks can be done in minutes using basic tools and available kits.
The gland has relief cuts and a hyper screw port, making the shocks easy to fill and bleed.
An upgraded seal kit minimizes leaks, especially in high-rebound applications.
The compression tube uses a slip fit design to simplify rebuilds.
A laser-engraved, black-anodized closure nut makes serial numbers and valving easy to read at the track or in the shop.
Racers can rebuild and re-valve their own shocks using available kits sold separately.
