The GEARWRENCH ratchet design, tether ready, features a patented two-step locking quick release that makes unintentional socket drops virtually impossible.

All existing GEARWRENCH full polish chrome sockets are supported by the ratchet head design, which requires no pin or awl for adding or removing a socket to the ratchet tang.

The design of the full polish chrome handle includes an integrated tether connection point, a tether through hole with a wire rope ring, which allows the ratchet to be added to a tethering system without any additional retrofitting.
