9MR-185 Pertronix Ignitor (Marelli, 8 cyl)
The Ignitor II features many of the same great attributes as the Ignitor, but it is smarter.
The Ignitor II units sense the coil current level and utilize a powerful microcontroller to adjust the dwell.
Maintaining peak energy throughout the entire RPM range is aided by variable dwell.
Between 3000 and 5000 RPM, Ignitor II systems develop up to 4 times more energy than standard ignition systems.
When paired with the Flame-Thrower II super low resistance (0.6 ohms) 45,000 volt coils, high RPM performance is enhanced.
Built-in reverse polarity and overcurrent protection shut down the system, preventing damage to components.
