After rigorous testing, the SX-E series turbochargers from BorgWarner showed excellent compatibility with 5.9L/6.7L Cummins, 6.4L/6.7L Ford, and 6.6L Duramax engines.
This variant includes a compressor wheel of 64mm and a turbine wheel of 73mm, which, despite being larger than usual, maintains drivability and responsiveness in lower RPM ranges due to its twin scroll design.
Tests revealed an average 200F drop in peak EGTs compared to typical factory turbo setups.
