After rigorous testing, the SX-E series turbochargers from BorgWarner showed excellent compatibility with 5.9L/6.7L Cummins, 6.4L/6.7L Ford, and 6.6L Duramax engines.
This variant has a 69mm compressor wheel and a 73mm turbine wheel, which, despite being larger than usual, maintains drivability and responsiveness in lower RPM ranges due to its twin scroll design.
Tests revealed an average 200F drop in peak EGTs compared to typical factory turbo setups.
