Cambuckle cargo straps are a lightweight option made of tough, woven polyester, designed to be highly resistant to stretching and abrasion.
When securing lighter loads and fragile cargo, cam straps are especially useful because the user has direct influence over the amount of tension placed on the strap during tightening.
This makes it difficult to over tighten the strap and crush the cargo.
On the other hand, ratchet straps are built to accommodate larger, heavier loads.
The ratcheting buckle allows you to easily place higher tension on the strap and keep heavy loads more securely fixed in place.
Various lengths and a number of different fastener types, including S-hooks, J-hooks, and flat hooks, are available for CURT cargo straps.
