The TR170 is a tie rod end designed for Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra vehicles, featuring a solid steel forged housing of SAE 1045 and hot forged chromoly ball studs of SAE 4140.
The housing is machined CNC for dimensional accuracy and to prevent issues with die wear.
The ball studs are forged hot and treated with induction heat for precise performance.
Made of military grade acetal material, the bearing offers stability, anti-friction properties, and resistance to wear.
It also includes CR rubber boots for durability and resistance to various elements.
Installation uses Grade 8 class 10.9 hardware with a castle nut and includes gull winged grease grooves for lubrication.
