The RAM Clutches 98847 Powergrip Clutch Set is designed for performance in Muscle cars up to 550-Horsepower.
Engineered to meet the challenges of power levels moving up to and beyond 500-Horsepower, RAM Clutches Powergrip Clutch Sets utilize a combination of Organic and Metallic Disc Friction Surfaces that effectively increase clutch capacity to the 550-Horsepower level.
Equipped with RAM Clutches Polycoil Damper Springs encapsulated in polyurethane, the 8-Spring Hub can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring, and is standard in all RAM Clutches Competition Discs.
This Set's RAM Clutches Competition Pressure Plate provides 30-Percent more clamp pressure than stock units and meets SFI specifications.
At this high level of performance, RAM Clutches Powergrip Clutch Sets offer surprisingly good driving characteristics with smooth, comfortable driver control.
Sets include Pressure Plate, Disc, Release Bearing, and Alignment Tool unless otherwise noted.
