Designed for Muscle car performance up to 550-Horsepower, RAM Clutches 98979 Powergrip Clutch Set meets the challenges of power levels moving up to and beyond 500-Horsepower with a combination of Organic and Metallic Disc Friction Surfaces that effectively increase the clutch capacity to the 550-Horsepower level.
Equipped with RAM Clutches Polycoil Damper Springs encapsulated in polyurethane, the 8-Spring Hub can handle three times the shock load of just the coil spring, and is standard in all RAM Clutches Competition Discs.
The Competition Pressure Plate in this Set provides 30-Percent more clamp pressure than stock units and meets SFI specifications.
At this high performance level, RAM Clutches Powergrip Clutch Sets provide surprisingly good driving characteristics with smooth, comfortable driver control.
Sets include Pressure Plate, Disc, Release Bearing, and Alignment Tool unless otherwise noted.
