The air intake kit consists of an air filter box, air duct, Pro 5 filter, high performance silicon connectors, and stainless steel clamps.
The Volant air filter box is engineered from cross-link polyethylene for each specific application to achieve low restriction and an increase in air volume.
It protects and insulates the filter from moisture, dust, engine heat, and debris to deliver colder air to the engine for an increase in horsepower.
The Volant air duct uses awkward bends and sound baffles to restrict flow.
Sculptured air ducts provide less restrictive breathing to the engine.
The Volant Pro 5 filter features a cleanable and reusable high grade cotton filter media with five layers of protection.
It reduces air restriction and increases engine output by utilizing precision pleat geometry that optimizes airflow throughout the intake system.
High performance silicon connectors maintain strength and thermal stability while providing flexibility, which won't crack or deform over time like rubber connectors.
Stainless steel clamps ensure optimal performance to create a solid seal that won't loosen or deteriorate.
