The Firebird and Trans Am from 1970-81 is the ideal vehicle for modification and updating its features to today’s standards.
These VHX Systems fit directly into the stock gauge carrier of the Firebird and come with new clear lenses, as the stock instrument lenses will no longer be used (bezel is not included).
This system of 5 gauges attaches directly within the stock dash bezel and includes full gauge housings with black powdercoated billet aluminum bezels to match the stock vents.
Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are some of the features that set the VHX Series apart from traditional instrumentation.
A few features that are not commonly seen include micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all backed by a limited lifetime warranty that has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems.
