Designed for flexibility, the PAC-2800BT is a simple add-on for any application using an electric fan.
A 70amp relay is included, sufficient for even the most power-hungry cooling fans.
The PAC-2800BT is fully programmable and will work with your existing water temp gauge, operating from the temperature sending unit already installed.
For applications without a water temp gauge, a dedicated sending unit can be installed.
OBD II compatible vehicles can obtain engine temperature from the ECM using a BIM-01-2 (or previous BIM-01-1), sold separately.
Compatible with single fan, dual fan, or single two-speed fan applications.
User-settable on and off temperatures are available.
One 70A relay is included, while a second relay RLY-1 (0-30 amp) or RLY-3 (0-70 amp) is required for dual fan or two-speed fan operation (sold separately).
User-settable on and off temperatures are available.
Key-off run time is adjustable from 0-5 minutes.
The PAC-2800BT works with many stock temp gauge/senders.
It can be directly connected to a Dakota Digital plastic-control box instrument system (not compatible with earlier systems with aluminum control box).
When used with BIM-compatible Dakota Digital instrumentation or a BIM-01-2, a single cable transfers speed and temperature data to the PAC-2800BT, allowing the fan to shut off at an adjustable highway speed.
OBD-II compatibility is available with the purchase of BIM-01-2, sold separately.
A dedicated temp sender is available.
The PAC-2800BT is Bluetooth enabled for mobile programming/setup app use.
It features an LED readout for simple programming.
The box measures 4" wide, 2.25" high, and 1" thick.
Mounting is recommended inside the vehicle cab or an alternate dry environment.
Autometer full-sweep electronic water temperature gauges will require a dedicated Dakota Digital temp sensor 140022, SEN-04-1, SEN-04-2, SEN-04-4, SEN-04-5, or SEN-04-6.
The PAC-2800BT includes a 24-month warranty against manufacturer defects.
