Founded by Darrell and Darrick Contreras, DC Sports is a designer and manufacturer of performance products for the Sport Compact Market.
In 1987, DC Sports developed a header for American Honda's SCCA prepped CRX's, resulting in the first 4 into 1 header design.
This design was well received, leading Honda to request headers for additional applications.
The Sport Compact Market primarily focused on popular Japanese small cars, which served as excellent platforms for tuning modifications.
Throughout the 1990s, DC Sports became synonymous with Honda and Acura performance, expanding into other sport compact platforms in the early 2000s.
DC Sports offers products for most popular sport compact vehicles, with headers and intakes available as CARB approved-50 states legal or race only-off road use versions.
Headers are made with polished T304SS stainless and/or T409SS ceramic coated for protection and finish.
Intake kits include a high flow open element filter with all necessary hardware for installation.
Braces are made with mild steel for strength and powder-coated for a durable finish, using solid one-piece designs whenever possible for maximum chassis rigidity.
All parts are engineered and dyno tested for performance where applicable, and come with an industry standard one year warranty.
