Dinan's Performance Spring set for the 550i F10 provides greater control over body roll due to carefully calibrated spring rates.
Additionally, the vehicle is lowered by 1/2 inch in the front and 1/2 inch in the rear for improved suspension geometry and a more aggressive stance.
The springs are CNC wound with high tensile chrome silicon wire and shot peened for stress relief to last the life of the car.
The increase in stiffness of the springs reduces rear suspension compression under acceleration and front suspension compression under braking, giving a more controlled feel.
The performance springs will also provide a noticeable improvement in grip for high-speed driving situations that inspire confidence in the car's capabilities.
Reduced body roll makes steering more responsive to driver input and will be noticed at low speeds up to the vehicle's top speed.
