The Performance Spring set from Dinan for the E60 M5 provides control over body roll by virtue of carefully calibrated spring rates.
Additionally, the M5 is lowered by 7/8 inch in front and 3/4 inch in the rear for improved suspension geometry and a more aggressive stance.
The springs from Dinan are CNC wound with high tensile chrome silicon wire and shot peened for stress relief to last the life of the car.
A 10% increase in stiffness will reduce rear suspension compression under acceleration and front suspension compression under braking, giving a more controlled feel.
The performance springs from Dinan will also provide a noticeable improvement in grip for high speed driving situations that inspire confidence in the car's capabilities.
Reduced body roll makes steering more responsive to driver input and will be noticed at speeds as low as 20 mph, up to the vehicle's top speed.
