The DV8 Offroad easy open Hinge Replacement Spare Tire Carrier provides access to the rear of your vehicle in OEM style.Constructed from machine bent, laser cut steel, it is welded together for a durable and sturdy spare tire mount that features a black textured powder coat finish.Mounting in place of the factory spare tire mount and stretching to the tailgate hinges, the carrier strengthens the overall tailgate to support a 37-inch tire being mounted without sacrificing factory door operation.The spare tire carrier offers a mount for relocating the 3rd brake light and an extension piece for the rear camera (additional wiring may be required and is not included).Installation is intermediate with some factory parts removal.Will not work with OEM wheel due to wheel offset.
