Product Overview

Flexigauge ACL (Yellow) .008-.016 (AY-1)

Flexigauge ACL (Yellow) .008-.016 (AY-1)

ACL Race Series performance engine bearings are manufactured to tolerances exacting.

Supported by precision measurement systems, micron tolerance machining delivers accuracy consistent to key characteristics like wall thickness and crush.

This helps maintain clearances consistent and ensures reliable fit.

A blend of characteristics provides high strength and excellent seizure resistance.

No flash plating is applied to improve bearing retention further and maximize heat transfer.

Key Features

High Strength Steel Backing, Higher tensile strength of steel alloy improves strength and retention of rod bearings. Increased crush improves retention of bearings from higher radial contact pressures and also improves dissipation of heat.
Increased Eccentricity, Bearing eccentricity is the gradual reduction in wall thickness between the crown and parting line. This enhanced engineering feature allows for distortion compensation of bore and assists in the formation of hydrodynamic oil film.
Extended Oil Grooves and Tapered Groove Run-Out, Main bearing grooved uppers with matching groove lowers provide less interruption to big end oil supply. Tapered groove run–out smooths cutoff of big end supply and avoids pressure pulsing and cavitation.
