The RAM Clutches 1543 Billet Steel Flywheel is part of the True Balance Billet Flywheel Series from RAM Clutches.
Designed to accept one half of the clutch system load, the Flywheel must be flat, parallel to the Crankshaft Flange, and properly surface ground for maximum friction compatibility with the clutch disc, and balanced.
Dyno testing shows that balance of the Flywheel is critical for achieving maximum engine service.
Every Flywheel from RAM Clutches is dynamically balanced to 1⁄2-Ounce/Inches of the factory specification.
RAM Aluminum Flywheels feature a .250-Inches thick steel friction insert to handle heat generated under extreme conditions, while resurfacing is possible without needing to replace the insert.
All Flywheels from RAM Clutches are manufactured using SFI Certified Materials in the South Carolina facility.
