Johnny Joint rod ends provide damping that a heim joint cannot offer via high density urethane bushings surrounding the inner ball.
Center balls that are heat treated are cross drilled for thru bolt lubrication, and the internals of the joint are retained with 2 heavy duty heat treated side washers and a snap ring.
This specific joint has a diameter of 2 1/2 in., is fitted with a zerk fitting for greasing, features 2 1/4 in.
by 1 1/4 in.-12 right hand threads on the stem, and has a 2.625 in.
mounting width ball with a 0.562 in.
thru bolt hole.
It is finished in gold zinc plating.
