The birth of a titan: Titan fuel tanks began in 2003 in response to diesel truck owners who wanted to travel farther without fear.
They wanted to reach fuel stations that might be hundreds of miles away.
Anyone towing a trailer understands the impact on mileage and how far it will be until the next station, often ending up at overpriced stations.
The goal was simple: design a lightweight tank that fits each vehicle perfectly, does not impact cargo space, and provides up to double a pickup's fuel range.
The tank must operate without interfering with any functional vehicle parts, including the hitch, and it had to look good, as the last thing desired is to make a vehicle less appealing.
