The Gates Hydraulic 2-Wire Braid Xtreme Heat hose is recommended for hydraulic applications where pressure and temperature requirements exceed SAE 100R2, ISO1436 2SN R2, and EN 853 2SN or where resistance to petroleum-base or phosphate ester fluids is required.
The cover is blue, thin synthetic rubber, and oil and abrasion resistant.
The hose's cover is also CSM Flame resistant - U.S.
MSHA 2G.
The reinforcement consists of two braids of high-tensile steel wire.
The tube is black, synthetic rubber (CPE), and oil and chemical resistant.
The temperature ranges are as follows: Petroleum-base fluids: -40°F to +300°F (-40°C to +149°C).
Phosphate esters fluids as recommended by the fluid manufacturer, but within a range of -40°F to +212°F.
