The Gates Hydraulic Plus Lock-On Hose is recommended for hydraulic oils, engine lubricating oils, glycol antifreeze compounds, and air.It meets SAE 30R2, SAE 30R6, and SAE 30R7 requirements for fuel and B20 biodiesel fuel transfer applications up to +125°F.The hose is not recommended for applications involving pressure surge or vibration.One fiber braid serves as the reinforcement.The tube is black, oil resistant, and made of synthetic rubber that is highly resistant to heat and oil (Nitrile - Type C).The recommended couplings for this hose are the Field Attachable LOC Couplings, using a clamp over the beaded nipple, and GLP Couplings (except -3).The temperature ranges are: -40°F to +250°F (-40°C to +121°C).For air, the range is -40°F to +160°F (-40°C to +71°C).
