Precision cover stampings of ACT pressure plates provide rigidity and consistency.
The 6-pad, spring-centered race disc by ACT features a spring-center to properly damp torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions.
Wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings are utilized by ACT spring retainers to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability.
Engagement is harsher with the 6-pad, spring-centered race disc, but shifting is faster.
For larger clutch sizes, the 6-pad, spring-centered disc is recommended to absorb more heat.
