Pacific Performance Engineering’s (PPE) Transfer Case Pump Upgrade Kit addresses the dreaded “pump rub.” Over time, the four positioning tabs that hold the pump in place wear down.
This wear causes the oil pump to contact the housing itself.
A hole is worn in the cover, leading to fluid leaks and potential damage to the transfer case.
This kit resolves this issue.
Using this kit offers a more secure method to support the pump and distributes the load better to eliminate the dreaded “pump rub.” PPE’s kit includes a gasket, thread locker, a machined billet aluminum pump cover, and a high-power Neodymium Ring Magnet to attract and hold harmful ferrous metals.
