HKS developed its Hi-Power Cat Back Exhaust System for the 2003-2004 Nissan 350Z, inspired by endurance and GT racing in Japan.
The Hi-Power exhaust system is designed for both naturally aspirated and turbocharged applications.
This new race-inspired muffler and piping design has been incorporated into many street applications, offering higher RPM power gains and greater flow due to the less-restrictive design.
Unnecessary bends are eliminated for the straightest exhaust path.
For turbocharged applications, the smooth and large exhaust flow allows for better mid-range boost response and high-RPM power.
Naturally aspirated vehicles benefit from increased exhaust flow capacity as engine tuning levels rise.
Certain applications are available in a Silent Hi-Power version, featuring an inner silencer built into the muffler.
Hi-Power exhaust systems are constructed from SUS304 stainless steel muffler and tip assemblies, with muffler tips ranging from 96mm to 120mm in diameter and piping diameters from 55mm to 95mm.
Special edition HKS carbon titanium Hi-Power exhaust systems are available for select popular applications, consisting of a carbon fiber-wrapped muffler shell, titanium tip, and polished SUS304 stainless steel piping.
