The deep transmission pans Hi-Tek are constructed from A356-T6 aluminum and are cast with thick internal and external fins, adding strength and increased cooling properties.
The design of the deep pan increases fluid capacity by 3.4 quarts over the stock O.E.
steel pan.
Combined, all these features help dissipate heat quicker, resulting in lower transmission and fluid temperatures, which prolongs the life of your transmission, transmission fluid, and corresponding components.
Other features of this popular pan include a drain port, and the pan accepts the two factory magnets to capture wear materials, protecting the transmission and allowing for clean and easy servicing.
It also includes a 1/8 inch npt temperature sensor port for easily adding a temp gauge to monitor transmission temperatures while daily driving, towing, or racing.
