High Performance Cloyes 9-3170A-10 Timing Set
Infinite valve timing adjustability of +/-6 degrees allows tuning for maximum engine performance output.
Featuring a one piece camshaft sprocket design, it includes a billet eccentric camshaft dowel bushing.
Both heat treated billet steel sprockets ensure durability.
TRUE roller 0.250" roller diameter "Z" chain reduces friction.
Approximately 33% overall increased strength over the standard high performance chain, the "Z" chain features a press fit center link design that increases load distribution.
Heat treated and processed links maximize ultimate breaking strength while remaining ductile for toughness and pre-stressed to increase fatigue life.
Captured needle camshaft sprocket thrust bearing minimizes block thrust surface friction.
3-piece sets are hand-matched to qualify the correct center distance and minimize runout.
