Built-in GPS and full DSC capabilities give the ability to share position information in the event of an emergency.
The Bluetooth feature built in gives the additional advantage of handsfree VHF operation, compatible with the SSM-BT-20 Bluetooth headset and additional aftermarket headset types.
Keeping the marine environment in mind, the HX891BT has been designed with an ergonomic case design and has been rigorously tested to conform to the Military Standard (MIL-STD-810F).
