Since 1922, Silvolite has been manufacturing pistons.
These are compatible replacements for early model 1972-1990 Ford 460 V-8 with a 4.390" bore diameter.
They can be utilized in Mercruiser boat engines that are equipped with the Ford 460 engine.
These pistons are not OE duplicates and replace the Oblong Oval recessed OE pistons.
Use in sets only.
Compression distance is 1.752".
Ring grooves are 5/64" 5/64" 3/16".
Pins included have a 1.040" pin diameter and are press-fit only.
For stock 6.605" length rods and stock 3.850" stroke.
