Since 1922, Silvolite has been manufacturing pistons.
These are compatible replacements for the 1972-1990 Ford 460 V-8 with a 4.360" Standard bore.
They can also be utilized in Mercruiser boat engines that are equipped with the Ford 460.
These pistons are not OE duplicates and replace the Oblong Oval recessed OE pistons.
Use in sets only.
Compression distance is 1.752".
Ring grooves measure 5/64" 5/64" 3/16".
Pins included have a 1.040" pin diameter and are press-fit only.
Designed for stock 6.605" length rods and stock 3.850" stroke.
