Ignitor II Pertronix (Mallory 27 Series Vac Adv)
The Ignitor II has many of the same great features as the Ignitor, but it is smarter.
Units of Ignitor II sense the coil current level and use a powerful micro controller to adjust the dwell.
Maintaining peak energy throughout the entire RPM range is aided by variable dwell.
Up to 4 times more energy is developed by Ignitor II systems between 3000 and 5000 RPM than standard ignition systems.
When used with the Flame-Thrower II super low resistance (0.6 ohms) 45,000 volt coils, high RPM performance is improved.
The system shuts down due to built-in reverse polarity and over current protection, preventing component damage.
