For 2003–2004 F-Series & Excursion owners: This intake elbow may interfere with the factory throttle valve.
To check compatibility, inspect the throttle valve located between the factory intake elbow and the intake manifold.
If electrical wires are connected, the valve is active and this intake elbow is not compatible.
If there are no wires, the valve is non-active and this intake elbow will fit correctly.

The increased diameter and larger volume reduce restriction within the intake for an increase in performance while the stronger aluminum construction and CNC machined base plate are designed to hold higher boost levels.
