Mallory 8 cyl Pertronix 9ML-281 Ignitor
The Ignitor II has many of the same great features as the Ignitor, but it is smarter.
The Ignitor II units sense the coil current level and utilize a powerful microcontroller to adjust the dwell.
Maintaining peak energy throughout the entire RPM range is aided by variable dwell.
Up to 4 times more energy is developed between 3000 and 5000 RPM than standard ignition systems with Ignitor II systems.
When used with the Flame-Thrower II super low resistance (0.6 ohms) 45,000 volt coils, high RPM performance is improved.
Built-in reverse polarity and overcurrent protection shuts down the system, preventing damage to components.
