The COMP Marine Mirror from CIPA offers approximately 98 square inches of rear view vision for boating safety.
This exceeds Alabama’s law of 78 square inches by 20 square inches, providing a wide angle view.
The mirror head features shatterproof convex safety glass of OE grade, meeting QS9000 and ISO 9002 standards.
For glass to be OE grade, it must utilize a technique called first surface coating.
First surface coating provides a high quality image that eliminates ghosting and multiple reflections.
The result is a clear view.
The COMP Marine Mirror can be mounted to round windshield frames with diameters from 0.375 to 1 inch.
Once mounted, it will sit approximately 3 inches above the windshield.
The mounting bracket is made from aluminum and has a textured black finish.
It attaches to the windshield with a quick and easy clamp-on design.
This mirror is also available for boats with square windshield frames that are 0.375 to 1 inch thick, part number 01875 (M1B875).
