For glass to be OE grade, it must utilize a technique called first surface coating.

The COMP Marine Mirror can be mounted to round windshield frames with diameters from 0.375 to 1 inch.
Once mounted, it will sit approximately 3 inches above the windshield.
The mounting bracket is made from aluminum and has a textured black finish.
It attaches to the windshield with a quick and easy clamp-on design.
This mirror is also available for boats with square windshield frames that are 0.375 to 1 inch thick, part number 01875 (M1B875).
