The MR-SB-S2KFU-1P is a front upper “race-spec” strut tower bar / strut brace made by Megan Racing specifically for the S2000 model.
It consists of a hollow, reinforced aluminum bar that spans between the left and right front strut towers, combined with high-strength steel mounting brackets that are stamped and welded (powder-coated for corrosion resistance and durability).
Its purpose is to reduce chassis flex — especially under vertical and lateral loads (e.g.
during braking, cornering, or heavy acceleration).
By tying together the two front strut towers, the brace helps stiffen the front end of the chassis, giving a more stable platform for the suspension components to work from.
The result is improved handling — sharper steering response, more predictable turn-in, reduced body roll, and generally more stable behavior under aggressive driving or track conditions.
