The oil in the sump can splash back onto the crank due to air turbulence generated by the rapidly spinning crank.With the addition of a Milodon louvered windage tray between the crank and the sump, the horsepower wasted by this inefficient oil handling can be reclaimed.The tray blocks much of the unwanted splash-back and turbulence, while allowing the oil to drain quickly into the sump through special louvers.It is made from gold plated steel for durability and is backed by the manufacturer's limited 90 day warranty.Note: Installation requires stock windage tray bolts or Milodon adjustable tray studs (available separately).Slight modification may be needed for stock tray bolts to avoid interference with the stock pan baffle.
