The intercooler kit for the 6.7L Powerstroke from Mishimoto brings additional reliability by replacing the stock design with a cast aluminum end tank that is precision TIG welded to the robust bar-and-plate core.
The cast end tanks reduce potential failure points, making them more reliable than cut and welded tanks.
Durability is further enhanced by aluminum intercooler pipes and silicone couplers featuring Duracore™ Technology.
In addition to being more durable than stock, the Mishimoto intercooler also provides better flow.
Flow bench testing indicated that the Mishimoto intercooler flowed 22% better than the stock cooler.
On the dyno, that increased flow resulted in 40 lb.
