The front end of the G8X M3, M4, and M2 was crafted by BMW designers over hours, ensuring every body line and duct flows seamlessly with the car.
However, your local dealership may have spent only 5 minutes using a drill and four drywall screws to attach the front license plate to the bumper.
The G80's front was not designed for a US front plate, as placing the plate in the center obstructs airflow to the radiator and creates wind resistance.
Mounting to the side requires drilling into and damaging your new bumper.
Fortunately, Mishimoto offers a solution.
Our license plate relocation kit is specifically designed for the 2021+ BMW G8X M3, M4, and M2, constructed from high-strength, anodized, and powder-coated 6061-aluminum.
It mounts directly to the OEM tow hook location, allowing for a seamless installation.
The plate is angled to match the bumper's lines and is securely mounted using the factory tow hook location to enhance aerodynamics and airflow through the cooling stack.
This kit includes all necessary hardware for easy installation and, like all our products, includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
