PENDLETON LITE HUNTER COLD STEEL KNIFE

In 1973, Lynn Thompson purchased the first knife made by custom maker Lloyd Pendleton.

The two friends have collaborated to create two of Lloyd's most popular knives, known as the Lloyd Pendleton Hunter and Mini Hunter.

In crafting these knives, we aimed to replicate Lloyd's work as closely as possible.

Both the hollow ground blade of the Pendleton Hunter and the flat ground blade of the Mini Hunter are honed to perfection.

The contours and cross sections of the handle match Lloyd's handmade knives precisely.

For durability and safety, we have replaced leather with Secure-Ex for the sheaths.

This material resists rot, mildew, cuts, and punctures more effectively than leather.

Over the years, our Pendleton Hunters have gained immense popularity, and while we believe they are reasonably priced, many have requested a more budget-friendly Pendleton.

We collaborated with Lloyd to design a new knife called the Pendleton Lite Hunter.

It closely resembles the rest of the family with a drop point blade, modest guard, hollowed bolster area, and a flared butt for retention.

The major changes include the use of more affordable 4116 Krupp steel and polypropylene instead of Kraton for the handle.

In testing, it performed well in the field for tasks like field dressing and skinning, held a decent edge, was easy to sharpen, and proved to be very durable.

The Pendleton Lite is an affordable hunting/utility knife that includes a pouch-style sheath.
