Performance Air Intake System K&N 63-1145
The K&N 63-1145 AirCharger air intake system replaces the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Honda Talon models.
Designed to reduce intake restriction, K&N air intakes smooth and straighten air flow.
This allows a larger amount of air to be inhaled by your engine compared to the factory air filter assembly.
More air results in more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range.
The 63-1145 air intake includes a K&N high-flow air filter, which is protected from the elements by an enclosed filter housing.
Air is directed through a free-flowing aluminum intake tube into the throttle body of the engine for a guaranteed power gain.
The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions.
Installation of this air intake is relatively easy, typically taking 90 minutes or less.
Required tools include a ratchet set, a few wrenches, and a flat blade screwdriver.
This air intake cannot be sold in California and is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
