Higher copper content friction lining in Performance Street discs allows for heat tolerance and steel-backed lining provides greater burst strength and durability.
They also feature top-grade rivets that securely fasten the part together.
The design of the rivets and the materials used are carefully selected for maximum strength.
ACT spring-centered assemblies utilize bushings and cone springs similar to factory clutch discs.
This creates frictional dampening, which reduces noise and improves clutch life.
All Modified, Performance, and many standard replacement discs are certified as meeting SFI Specification 1.1 and are legal in all racing organizations that require SFI certification.
