All components used in these GM front disc brake kits from MaxGrip XDS are new high-quality, precision machined products.
With this hi-performance rotor that is cross drilled, slotted, and zinc plated, brake fade is reduced and braking performance is increased.
The cross drilled and slotted rotor removes gases that build up between the rotor and brake pad during heavy braking.
The removal of this gas will give better contact between the rotor and brake pad, increasing braking power.
