The factory power steering pump on late-model Mopar Gen III Hemi engines has too much pressure for the steering box on most older muscle cars and trucks.
This special Saginaw type II power steering pump produces the proper pressure and works with pulley 97-383 to operate the pump at the proper speed when used with the existing drive system on Gen III Hemi engines.
The complete kit (part # 97-382) includes the power steering pump with reservoir, hardline adapter, mounting plate, and pulley.
