An exclusive four-stage heat treating process is performed on all diaphragms, and the bearing contact area is induction hardened to promote extremely long wear life.
The contact face is securely located to the cover by drive straps and rivets for quiet, trouble-free operation with no loose pieces to wear or rattle.
