The 45 Degree Single Full Flow Hose End from Edelbrock/Russell features a swivel mating nut machined from billet aluminum.A primary adapter ring is separately machined at a 37 degree angle to assure a positive connecting surface.The mating nut is secured to the main seal body by a stainless steel holding pin, providing a full and unobstructed swivel.All angles are mandrel bent, which eliminates sharp changes in direction for optimum flow.Enlarged flats on the socket offer an excellent non-slip gripping surface.The hex designed brazed nipple provides a greater holding area for strength and easier assembly.The taper design allows for a straight through connection with easy alignment upon assembly, eliminating loose pieces of rubber within the flow area.
