ARP 116-6001 Connecting Rod Bolts for Renault R12 Gordini/Alpine (807g) are made from high performance 8740 Chromemoly Steel.
The ARP High Performance Connecting Rod Bolts are rated at 190,000 PSI, and a premium grade 8740 alloy chrome moly steel is used to manufacture these bolts.
Heat-treated material provides a tensile strength in the 200,000 psi range, which is significantly stronger than OEM bolts.
Cycle testing indicates that ARP High Performance rod bolts are nearly five times more reliable than stock bolts.
